Minimum requirements:

Motivated scientist interested in how GABAergic inhibitory interneurons shape circuit dynamics in healthy brains and in epilepsy

PhD degree in Neuroscience or related discipline

First-author publication in a field adjacent to our research focus

Authorized to work in the United States
Candidates who meet all the above requirements should email their CV and a brief cover letter ​describing their background and interests to the PI.

Our lab is located in the Epilepsy Research Center of the Department of Neurology of the Baylor College of Medicine, on the Texas Medical Center campus in the heart of Houston. Baylor is private, independent health sciences center, consistently ranked in the top tier of medical programs in the US. Houston is the 4th largest metro area in the country, a progressive city with an exceptionally diverse population, great food and an affordable cost of living.
