Welcome Teresa!

Teresa is a rising junior at the University of Alabama who originally grew up in Katy, TX. She is majoring in Neuroscience and is an active member of Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Upsilon chapter.

She is a student of BCM's Summer Undergraduate Research Training (SMART) Program.  SMART provides frontier-level, biomedical summer research projects for undergraduates in a supportive environment with supplemental educational activities. 

Teresa is passionate about researching the recovery of patients who have suffered from traumatic brain injuries and plans to attend graduate school after graduation. By participating in our research, she strives to gain research experience and contribute her strengths towards the lab.
